Meet our beneficiary: The LA Tenants Union
The LA Tenants Union (LATU) is a diverse, tenant-led movement fighting for the human right to housing for all. They demand safe, affordable housing and universal rent control. They organize against landlord harassment, mass evictions, and displacement. Their mission is to strengthen tenants’ political power through education, advocacy, and direct action.

All profits from the Red Hot Comedy Night will go towards LATU's Community Defense Fund which aims to : defend immigrants from the raids through creation of community defense stations, perform know your rights training both as immigrants and tenants, increase eviction prevention and defense, and support mutual aid efforts.
